1st Blog Birthday!

Hello lovelies! Although it’s been a rocky first year, with some major ups and some equally crazy downs, we made it! Clockwork Bibliophile turns one year old today ❤ For this post, I’d just like to thank all of you who have stuck around and motivated me to continue writing and being passionate about my blog, and have a little look at how much I’ve progressed this year as a blogger.

To be honest, considering how long of a break I took from blogging last year, I’m so surprised with the amount of followers I’ve managed to amass. When I started, I genuinely didn’t think anyone would care enough about my opinion to want to follow my posts. But you lovely people have proven me wrong and I’m very thankful for that, and for you all.

In terms of goals for my blog in 2017, I don’t really have any. Since I expanded my blog and stopped my posting schedule, I’m a lot happier so I’d just like to keep going the way I have been the past few weeks; posting a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. The only real thing I want to work on is reading more, since I’m slowly but surely getting out of the reading slump! It would be good to get back to writing more book related posts 🙂

So again, thank you all so much for supporting this blog and sharing your opinions with me this year – it’s been a blast! If you have a blog, what are your goals for this coming year?shannon

  1. Congrats on your blogoversary!! That’s a huge deal.

I totally understand not setting any goals. I’m pretty adequate at that myself. When it comes to personal goals I flop a bit. But for some strange reason, when I am beholden to others I blow my goals out of the water! The most important goals to me this year are:
    1) Spend at least 5 minutes a day blog hopping. I am TERRIBLE at this, and I need to improve. 2) Maintain posting twice a week.
I have more goals, but these are the most critical ones to me.

I wish you luck as another year begins. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us!
