April Wrap Up + May TBR!

Another month gone, another month closer to summer weather *claps excitedly*. I need to make a disclaimer for this post: I’ve been a terrible book lover this month. I’ve been in a crappy reading slump recently so I’ve only read a few books this and I started reading another which I ended up not finishing 😦 I hope I get out of this runt soon because I’ve been buying so many bloody books recently and am getting even further behind on my TBR #PrayForShannon ❤

April Wrap Up

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

If you haven’t heard me fangirl about this book yet.. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN????????? I love everything Shadowhunter related and this book definitely did not disappoint! This is unquestionably the most emotionally harrowing and tense first book in a series that Cassie has brought out, so I’m actually quite scared about the rest of the series, even though I’m also excited for it. Check out my review of this wonderful book here 🙂

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone: Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling

Everyone loves Harry Potter. Everyone loves cute little illustrations. THIS BOOK COMBINES THE TWO AND IT IS PERFECT. Pls buy this, I highly recommend ❤

The Illustrated A-Z of Classic Mythology: The Legends of Ancient Greece, Rome, and the Norse and Celtic Worlds by Arthur Cotterell

I absolutely adore Greek mythology, as you’ll probably know if you’ve read my Staking the Shelves post from yesterday. I own a bunch of different books revolving around this topic but this book is definitely one of my favourites. It includes the stories from hundreds of heroes and gods, I just love it. If you like myths and legends then I suggest you pick up this one.

I totally did not stick to my TBR list for last month because I’m terrible so I’ll just set one book for myself in May. And that book is…

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I am very, very excited to be starting this one and will hopefully get around to it by the end of the month 🙂

Thank you so much for reading guys, I hope you achieved your reading goals for last month! 🙂

  1. I still need to get the illustrated Harry Potter. My birthday is this month so I might treat myself. Also, the Night Circus is amazing and I hope you enjoy it. I loved it so much it’s on my “favorite books” bookshelf.
